I loved d'Annam's chapter 1 so I had high expectations coming to this. And let me tell you, I was blown away by this new collection. Each scent in this collection is a work of art, with intricately woven notes that tease and delight the senses.

They all have a calming quality to them. My favorite is Matcha Soft Serve and Moonlight Samurai, a beautiful soft leather scent.

I need to collect all these eggs!

They are all so beautiful and my only complaint is that Kimono, one I was most excited to smell and I absolutely adore it which makes me even more sad that that sample had leaked and was less than half full. Maybe it wasn’t full to begin with because it didn’t seem to be all over everything, but just missing from the sample, otherwise absolute perfection! I can’t wait to try the Vietnam one now.

I did take a star off for the packaging and shipping quality. I paid extra for express delivery which was fantastic, however my set didn’t arrive with any sort of protection in a plastic bag. 3 of the vials had leaked into the packaging which took away from the experience of having clean test strips. That aside, these fragrances are so carefully crafted, you will be left in awe. I’m so happy I chose the discovery set because words alone can’t describe the genius creation of each scent.

A lovely collection of scents all worth smelling through. The pre labeled tester strips and pamphlet included with haikus was a nice touch as well. Just a wonderful brand all throughout.
